Palestine – Casualties and suffocation during confrontations on the borders of the Gaza Strip

Violent confrontations broke out on the eastern border of the Gaza Strip on Monday between Palestinian citizens and the Israeli forces in protest against the decision of US President Donald Trump to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and transfer his country’s embassy to it, where the Israeli forces intensively fired at a group of demonstrators, wounding more than 25 citizens with bullets and suffocating other with tear gas. The demonstration came after an invitation from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) to engage with the Israeli forces in all areas along the border with the Gaza Strip
