Palestine – A protest in front of the United Nations headquarters in the Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian Women’s Union held a protest in front of the United Nations headquarters in the Gaza Strip on Monday, condemning US President Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and transfer his country’s embassy to it. Women raised Palestinian flags during the protest and held banners reading “Jerusalem is Palestine’s eternal capital”, “We won’t forget or forgive”, while chanting slogans like “Coward Trump, Palestine can never be humiliated”, calling the international community to force the United States of America to commit to all the resolutions of international legitimacy related to the Palestinian cause, in addition to pressuring it to back down from this decision and to fully recognize Palestine as an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital
