Palestine – Angry marches roam the streets of Ramallah

A massive demonstration took place in the city of Ramallah after Friday prayers from al-Bireh Mosque towards the Israeli military checkpoint of Beit El, north of Al-Bireh. Hundreds of citizens, politicians and members of civil society took part in the march while the Israeli forces fired tear gas and rubber bullets at demonstrators who threw stones at the troops and torched rubber tires.
