Iraq – Iraqi MPs: canceling the referendum is in the interest of the federal government and Kurdistan.

Iraqi MPs stressed the importance of the Federal Supreme Court’s recently issued decision to cancel the referendum in the Kurdistan region. They pointed out that the federal government wants to reach an objective solution in the interests of the two parties, and explained that the Iraqis rejected the referendum as it divides Iraq and affects its unity, contrary to what is confirmed by the Iraqi constitution about the territorial integrity of Iraq.
