The Iraqi joint forces and the Iraqi air forces succeeded in striking ISIS locations in Samarra Island located in Saladin province on Eastern Tigris River.

The Iraqi joint forces and the Iraqi air forces succeeded in striking ISIS locations in Samarra Island located in Saladin province on Eastern Tigris River and the ground forces entered the island by military vehicles to control the region and its is one of the operations to cleanse Iraq from ISIS.
