Yemen – World Food Programme is seeking to avert a famine in Yemen

WFP seeks to cooperate with the conflicting parties in Yemen to avert a famine in the country, where the Executive Director of the World Food Program of the United Nations (WFP), Mrs. Ortherin Cousine, stressed the need for joint action between the parties to the conflict in Yemen, to avert a famine in the country. This came during Cousin’s meeting with Yemeni Prime Minister Ahmed bin Daghr in the temporary capital of Aden.
