Rising temperatures and frequent power cuts in central and southern Iraq have led to the revival of tourism in Kurdistan region in northern Iraq.
Dokan tourist resort in Sulaymaniyah governorate is attracting a large turnout of Iraqi and Arab tourists from various Iraqi governorates who visit to enjoy the cool weather and beautiful scenery.
According to statistics provided by Tourism Directorate in Dokan District, 600,000 tourists have visited during the past 6 months.
