National museum in Amman, decorated with Arabian and International art
National Museum of Fine Arts opened in 1980 in Jabal Alwebda and it is one of the important Jordanian museums due to the exchange shows with other museums from all around the world and their participation in Arabian and international shows through art from different countries.
There are more than 3000 portraits of more than 500 artists from 30-40 countries at the museum decorated with bright colors and different meanings to attract many visitors and tourists as well as artists who enjoy looking at portraits with different ways.
The activities of the national museum of fine arts vary since they bring art and literature together and they hold conferences and give lectures and art and short stories evenings they also organized more than 60 art shows outside Jordan reaching Europe, America and Australia. The museum organizes teaching programs to deliver and artistic message for as many people as possible.
