Alwan Antique exhibit in Erbil
“Alwan” Antiques fair is the biggest and most famous in Iraq including many museums with 3 decades old antiquities classified According to the Iraqi sects and religions.
From Neighborhoods near Erbil Citadel, Mr. Khales Younes started his hobby of collecting antiquities by wandering around villages of Kurdistan Region to collect all antiques of 200-300 years old.
The fair is visited by many foreign tourists and Antiques students as well as film makers who are documenting history. Zahran documents all the specialized fairs and he is aiming to opening another fair in Erbil Citadel called Erbil Antiques.
