Storyline:

The Eyup Sultan Mosque was built in 1458. It was the first mosque that Muslims built in Istanbul, 5 years after The Fall of Constantinople.

The mosque comprises a separate building that serves as the mausoleum of alsahabi aljalil Abu Ayyub al-Ansari and others. Turkish people call alsahabi aljalil Abu Ayyub al-Ansari “Eyup Sultan” out of respect and adoration. The mosque is surrounded by markets visited by tourists and mosque frequenters where the walls are decorated with exquisite Islamic inscriptions.
