Kurds, Arabs seize key Syria dam from ISIS

Democratic Syria forces advanced and now control strategic Tishrin Dam after a fierce battle with ISIS. The importance of the location is it is a connection point between Jarabulus, Manbij and Albab with Alraqa.

Democratic Syria forces succeeded and announced their control over Tishrin Dam along with 10 more villages and farms after a siege since yesterday. The clashed happened under the protection of the international coalition jets.

The control came after the fourth day of the military operations that Democratic Syria forces started to cleanse Tishrin Dam from ISIS and to cut the supply road shared with Turkey and the Dam is considered one of the main sources of electricity of Aleppo.
