Storyline

Taiz Cultural Office organized a coffee tasting festival to encourage coffee cultivation in the Yemeni city, which is famous for producing “mocha” coffee beans.

Marking National Coffee Day 2022, which falls on March 3rd, the festival featured plays and art shows, as well as planting about 10,000 coffee seedlings in Taiz.

Mocha coffee variety is named after the historic Mocha Port, which was a major center of international coffee trade.
