Following a session of official talks between the two sides, Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani and his Turkish counterpart, Mevlut Cavusoglu, held a press conference in Manama, as part of Cavusoglu’s official visit to Bahrain.

The Bahraini minister complimented the two country’s historical friendship, built on mutual respect and constructive cooperation, emphasizing the Kingdom’s interest in strengthening bilateral cooperation in many development fields to benefit the two countries.

Meanwhile, the Turkish Minister expressed his gratitude for the hospitality he received on this visit, appreciating the friendship between the two countries.

He expressed the eagerness of Turkey to expand friendship and bilateral cooperation to serve common interests, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.

The two sides discussed methods to strengthen joint cooperation in the political, economic, commercial, cultural, and tourism fields, as well as to improve the friendship between the two countries.

They also reviewed recent political and security challenges in the region, and the wars and conflicts going on in the countries and threaten the security and stability of the region.

Both sides agreed on the importance of activating and strengthening cooperation in all vital fields.
