Many of the Yemeni residents work in hard jobs in spite of the little financial benefits that does not meet their basic needs, due to the increasing rate of unemployment and lack of job opportunities, where the residents of Shabwa in southern Yemen work in carving rocks and stones with simple tools for the purpose of extracting rock salt and selling it in commercial markets.
