Syria – NE, Syria to Launch Civil Platform that initialize organizations role
An alliance of civil organizations held a conference in northern and eastern Syria for two days, in presence of about 200 representatives of civil organizations, aiming to strengthening all organizations role in issues related to governance, advocacy, and mobilization. In a collective and joint effort to provide opportunities for all organizations, internal system of this alliance was discussed in the presence of 16 alliance founding organizations, where 15 members of the administrative board of men and women were elected. The alliance seeks to enable the organizations and activate their role in developing self-management and the system of governance so that these organizations become a true representative of the real civil society in north and east Syria.
