Jordan- “Nafan” paper recycling project by a Jordanian girl
Inspired by the light, the Jordanian girl, Alaa Janbek, exerted her efforts through the “Nafan” project, by simply recycling paper at her home to reduce environmental pollution and raise awareness about recycling, and by shredding paper with a blender and putting it into molds, producing beautifully masterpieces for sale in cafes and on social media. Alaa seeks to spread the culture of recycling, as she indicates that the Jordanian individual leaves about 50 kilos of paper annually, which is a huge amount of waste that is not recycled or reused.
