Iraq – Baghdad Publications and Banners Diminishes this Election Season

Baghdad streets seemed less crammed of parliament election Publications, Posters, banners and advertisement materials for the upcoming parliamentary elections when compared to previous electoral seasons. Opinions varied about this decrease while only around ten days remained until the polling date. Where journalists and analysts attributed the reasons to the fact that posters and banners of the candidates were being torn down by unknown persons during the expansion of political accusations campaigns between the parties competing for parliamentary seats, many candidates are publishing their photos on social media, as well as taking youth gatherings as another methods to spread their electoral campaign.
