Yemen – Rejecting the living deterioration, protesters in Taiz block the streets

36

Protests erupted in the streets of Taiz, southern Yemen, rejecting the deterioration of living conditions and demanding the overthrow of the government. The protesters set fire to damaged tires and cut off most of the city’s streets, stopping traffic, as a result, the Yemeni security forces opened fire to disperse the protesters, who blocked the streets and attacked some shops, resulting in the injury of a civilian. It is worth noting that the price of the dollar exceeded 1200 Yemeni riyals, while the Saudi riyal crossed 320 riyals, amid silence and the government’s inability to provide a solution for the worsening economic collapse day after day.
