Tunisia – Overwhelming public support for the Tunisian president’s proposal to amend the constitution
The President of the Republic, Qais Saied, made a statement about the potential of amending the 2014 constitution, which generated widespread debate in the Tunisian street. However, the head of the “Tunis Forward Movement”, Obeid al-Breiki, believes that a revision of the constitution at the current stage is necessary, and he pointed out that the revision does not mean a retreat from the constitution as much as it is a protection for the constitution.
