Jordan: NATO conference on terrorism and extremism

NATO allies held a conference in Jordan to discuss a series of strategies and behaviors that can be adopted in the defense against terrorism.
The conference, entitled: ‘Human Factors in the Defense Against Terrorism, the Case of Jordan’, was part of an agreement reached earlier this year between NATO and the Kingdom to step up the alliance’s coordination to strengthen partners and to project stability beyond the alliance’s borders.
The conference debated the indoctrination techniques, individuals and groups in at-risk societies which extremists’ find conducive to recruitment in terrorist organizations.
