Jordan – “Fragrance of Colors”, Jordanian initiative to help blind people to see colors

29

The founder of the “Fragrance of Colors” initiative for the Blind and the visually impaired, Sohail Baqain, transferred the blind’s imagination from their minds to paper, where they embody it by selecting colors through its smell. Red is the color of cherries and apples, green is the color of mint, yellow is lemon, orange is orange, and so on. Thus, Baqa’in pointed out that the story “Fragrance of Colors”, of which around a thousand copies were printed, is a transportable story in the Kingdom’s schools to introduce students to the success story of the Academy’s students and how disability turned into energy.
