Mongolians are gearing up to cast their votes in the presidential elections scheduled to be held tomorrow, Wednesday, on the ninth of this month. The upcoming elections are contested by U.Khurelsukh from the Mongolian People’s Party, S.Erdene from the Democratic Party, and D.Enkhbat, from the “Right Man-Electorate” coalition. The presidential election campaign of the candidates is conducted calmly and modestly, while the new constitution stipulates that the new president will assume a presidential term of six years, not four years as in the past, and former presidents have the right to run for re-election.
