Syria’s Democratic conference ends with forming Democracy Council of Syria
Syria’s Democracy Conference, which was held in the city of Derek of Aljazeera province of northern Syria under the slogan “Build a free and Democracy Syria” ended with agreement on formation of the Democracy Council of Syria, a democracy political entity includes all the components of political and social forces, and goals to put revolutionary movement in the country in rightful place and find a way out of the dark tunnel the country is passing through by dialogue with the various political forces and consensus on the establishment of a democracy constitution.
Participants in Syria Democracy conference announced in their final statement the formation of the “Democracy Council of Syria”, a political entity that includes all the components of political and social forces, and aims to put the revolutionary movement in the country in the right place and find a way out of the dark tunnel that the country is passing through via dialogue with the various political forces and the establishment of a democracy constitution in addition to the fighting against terrorism and the statement gave the responsibility for what happened in Syria to the Syrian regime.
The conference which happened Tuesday inside Syria and precisely at Alhasakah with the presence of 103 representatives of power and opposing parties of the majority of Syrian components discussed ways to solve the Syrian crisis and ending the conflicts in Syria.
The conference was attended by representatives of democracy self-government parties and the Democracy Society Movement party and Syrian Democracy bloc, the Kurdish Democracy Progressive Party in Syria, and modern Democracy party, the Kurdish Azadi Party, Syriac Women Union, Assyrian Democracy Party, Turkmen forum of Tel Abayad along with dozens of national opposition figures, businessmen, elders of Kurdish tribes and the elders of the Syrian Arab tribes and women’s organizations, and writers, journalists and Syrian intellectuals.
