Iraq – Kurdistan Communist Party holds a vigil in response to prices escalation and salaries deduction
A group of Kurdistan Communist Party members held a vigil in front of the Sulaimaniyah Governorate building raised a banner that reads, “Salaries deduction is illegal, and enough for price escalation”. The Kurdistan Communist Party in Sulaymaniyah, called on the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, to put an end to the price hikes and to stop deducting parts of employees’ salaries. Osman Hama Saeed, a member of the Kurdistan Communist Party stated that they are dissatisfied with the difficult circumstances that the people of the region are subjected to through the deduction of salaries and the high prices of food and fuel, pointing out that the party submitted demands to the governor of Sulaymaniyah to send them to the regional government.
