Yemen- Over 24,000 civilian were displaced in bloody violence in Ma’rib

According to the Yemeni government’s Displacement Management Authority, the bloody violence in the Ma’rib governorate, north-eastern Yemen, has resulted in the displacement of more than 24,000 people since last February, and several displacement camps have been cleared due to the Houthi’s bombing. The recent battles that the Houthi has launched on Ma’rib’s displaced camps, made millions of displaced people in the governorate face difficult humanitarian conditions; meanwhile, nutritionist pointed out that half of the Yemeni children suffer malnutrition, adding that the conflict has displaced more than four million people, while over 12 million people depend on food aid, and half of the children under the age of five are malnourished.
