Syria – Syrian opposition areas to oppose re-electing Bashar al-Assad as president
The citizens of Jabal al-Zawiya in Idlib countryside, northern Syria, have condemned the People’s Assembly’s declaration of the opening of the door for candidacy for the presidential elections in Syria, scheduled for mid-May. They refused to re-elect the current Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, because of what he has done against them in terms of killing and displacing civilians.
