Yemen: Crops Spoil in Farms Due to Houthi Militias’ War in Yemen

Farmers in northwestern Yemen complain about facing post-harvest losses given the restraints imposed by Houthi militias. For at least two years, farmers haven’t been able to deliver their crop yields to Al Hudaydah and Sanaa. It is worth mentioning that more than half of the country’s labor work in the agricultural filed; which means about 2 million citizens rely on farming for their living, especially in light of the cutoff in salaries which drove many into working in farms
