Iraq – The International Coalition and NATO are the backbone of the Iraqi army to defeat ISIS

Dr. Maan Al-Jubouri, the Iraqi Ministry of Defense advisor, sees that the Iraqi security forces still need to cooperate with the International Coalition and NATO forces to implement integrated operations to defeat ISIS. Al-Jubouri stated that the coalition’s support involves supplying intelligence information, training and equipping the security forces in the country, and providing air support in the battles against ISIS. The Iraqi forces are stepping up campaigns to track down the involvement of these ISIS hidden cells, which carry out irregular operations in some cities of Iraq.
