Cambodia – Complaints over the excessive waste in the Sansom Kosal River

People of the Sansom Kosal village, southern the capital, Phnom Penh, voiced their dissatisfaction about the excessive waste in the Sansom Kosal River, which contributed to significant pollution of the environment in the village and the spread of the bad smell and mosquitoes, despite the signs of prohibiting people from throwing trash and plastic bags into the river. The villagers living near the river asked officials to find radical solutions to the issue of waste in the river
