Syria: Ar Rashīd Park Opens its Doors For Children After Years of the Grueling War

After Muntazah ar Rashīd (ar Rashīd park) was a hotbed for ISIS atrocities and a detention centre, the park is currently crowded with visitors. In collaboration with international organizations, the city’s administration is seeking to bring life back to the park by supplying the playing ground with more equipment. When the park was under ISIS grip, no people were allowed to enter. It was a cemetery for detainees, considering the fact that the Initial Response Team found mass graves. Ar Raqqah’s families voiced their pleasure especially after enduring dire humanitarian conditions of the gruelling war
