Yemen – The first-ever in Yemen, The Al-Ahly Club Academy has been declared, in Taiz
The Al-Ahly Club in the city of Taiz held an event to declare the club’s academy at the Martyrs Stadium. The ceremony included honoring the champions of the last sporting season with the attendance of the official, community, and athletic members. The Academy declaration was arranged by the Youth Office in collaboration with Al-Ahly Club and under the patronage of the Minister of Youth and Sports, Nayef Al-Bakri, and the Governor of Taiz, Nabil Shamsan. The academy is specialized in developing age groups and is the first in the country. It is intended to lead to a transition in the direction of sports in Taiz and Yemen in general and to support national teams.
