Iraq – Iranian music bands are in the streets of Iraqi Kurdistan
The streets of Iraqi Kurdistan, Sulaymaniyah in particular, have observed the musicians belong to the Iranian Kurdistan who performs streets art, which is one of the internationally recognized arts and found in Europe especially. The Iranian guitarist, Kamal Taouni, stated that they came to Kurdistan because of its openness to the world as it serves as the capital of art and culture. He added that the mission of the band is to spread love and peace through music. Regarding the law exchange rate of the Iranian currency, the guitarist stated that making some money allows them to solve their financial crisis. Meanwhile, street art or art of rebellion is one of the world’s most popular arts that put together the various arts presented on the street like; painting, sculpture, dancing, and music.
