Following the assassination of the Iranian nuclear scientist, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, many around the world are awaiting Tehran’s response. Experts illustrated that as calls intensify to take revenge, Tehran may adopt a hardline approach and seek a military escalation. However, some experts believe that Tehran will favor its strategic interests by seeking to cut a nuclear deal with the US.
