Palestine: ” Mohammad and Najlaa ” Are Striving to Preserve their Museum Amid Coronavirus Spread

In an aged house that goes back to 1956 in al-Qarara in the Northeast of Khan Yunis Governorate, Al Qarara Cultural Museum was constructed where archaeological and architectural artifacts that belong to seven civilizations are preserved. In 2016, Mohammad and Najlaa inaugurated the museum. However, with the outbreak of covid-19, no visitors came to the museum.  In line with the Ministry of Tourism & Antiquities’ decision to combat the spread of the virus, the museum closed its doors. After lockdown law was eased, Mohammad decided to invest his time in cleaning the place and renovate some pieces, awaiting the Ministry of Tourism & Antiquities to enact a decision of reopening museums
