Iraq: Iran to De-escalate Targeting US Interests as Biden Clinched the Presidency

Iraqi experts indicated that in the upcoming phase, Iran will be keen not to escalate with the US, or even impinge upon its interests in the region to avoid jeopardizing Tehran’s interests especially after a democratic candidate clinched the US presidency. Iranian de-escalation may be attributed to its crippled economic status quo along with raising domestic unrest. Iranian ruling class is aware that people can’t handle another crisis; therefore, they are trying so hard not to lose the proponents of the Iranian regime.
