Iraq: Experts: Iraq Needs an Economic Overhaul to Overcome the Crumbling Government Economic Vision

Iraq- as many other countries- has suffered from the fallouts of the outbreak of the Corona virus that crippled a lot of businesses and different sectors, in addition to the repercussions of the economic downturns. The crumbling Iraqi economy can be attributed to the fact that it lacks a well-defined economic system. It is unknown whether the adopted system is a capitalist, a socialist, or something else. Hence, the government is incapable of mapping out a solution for the economic crisis.
