Division among US citizens is one of the most salient features of the US presidential elections’ scene, amid concerns that the ballot results would spur unprecedented scenarios. Joe Biden, who is on the lead, stands on the brink of claiming the presidency from Donald Trump with 264 electoral college votes after two days of the election’s day. This was surprising as in most previous US presidential campaigns, the majority of the votes would be available on the night of the elections, or on the day after.  This is attributed to the mail ballots which are favoured by the democratic party, unlike the Republican party who prefers to vote in ballot stations
