Syria- US Military Patrol Roams Oil and Gas Fields in Syrian-Iraqi Borders

US military convoy consisting of armored vehicles and personnel carriers has patrolled the Rimelan town in north-eastern Al-Hasakah. The convoy, which was backed by helicopters, held reconnaissance activities in the oil-rich region in Qara Chauq Dagh near Iraqi borders. The patrol was launched from Rimelan (US military base) and then headed to the oil fields in the black cave village ( Al Kahf Al Aswad), two kilometers from Iraqi borders
