The societal restrictions imposed on women in Gaza could not stop Shereen Al-Aila, a 33-year-old. By her persistence despite the harsh criticism around her, she managed to achieve a different female example in the practice of bodybuilding. Shereen became a coach for this sport after a long period of practice; despite the difficulty of convincing some girls as the first coach, she was able to attract a sufficient number of trainees by explaining its benefits and advising all girls in the Gaza Strip to go to the sport of bodybuilding and ignore the criticism, as it is not limited to Men only. The trainee Saja stresses the importance of this type of sports because it reflects positively on health, and it strengthens muscles, bones, and human body parts.
