Iraq: Armed Factions to Suspend Missile Attacks of US Military Bases

Armed factions have suspended their missile attacks on US forces’ headquarters in Iraq, provided that the Iraqi government will present a time table for US forces withdrawal. Experts pointed out that time limit was given to the US to declare its stance toward the decision of moving its forces out of the country, and for the Iraqi government to have enough time to negotiate with the US on the terms of such withdrawal. Experts also stated that Iraqi political sides have intervened to mollify the escalation and to give the US opportunity to withdraw its forces
