Siem Reap Welcomes Visitors Despite Covid-19 Pandemic

Despite the outbreak of covid-19 in most countries of the world, Angkor wat area, located in Siem Reap Province, northwestern Cambodia, which includes the most attractive historical temples and religious monuments, still receives visitors yet, less than previous years, to enjoy the beauty and splendor of the historical city and watch the Equinox from Angkor Wat temple. Apsara Authority in Siem Reap has taken some measures, such as improving the infrastructure in tourist places, training workers and employees, in addition to developing cooperation with the Huangshan Mountain Authority in China’s Anhui Province, with the aim of preparing to welcome visitors as the pandemic ends. Angkor Wat temple in Siem Reap is the largest religious temple in the world and is visited by many Cambodians and foreign tourists to witness the Equinox, that occurs twice, on March 20th and September 22nd.
