Hai Phong city, Vietnam 30.09.2020
Tuberculosis remains one of the most common diseases in Vietnam, and has taken the largest share of this disease among 30 countries as it kills about 17,000 of its citizens annually, double the number of annual deaths from traffic accidents. Although this disease can be prevented There is no cure for TB. However, half of people with TB in Vietnam do not receive treatment, especially the poor, homeless, communities of drug addicts and people with HIV / AIDS. Government medical care centers, along with NGOs and self-care groups, provide medical support and food aid to homeless TB patients who live under bridges in cities and poor areas.
