Siem Reap, in northern Cambodia, is a central tourist destination in Southeast Asia, where it looks ancient and traditional. It relies in particular on tourism sector for its rice farms, fishing villages and bird sanctuaries. What distinguishes this city is that it is a gateway to the famous temple, Angkor Wat, but since the start of the Corona pandemic and the stop of air flights, tourists no longer go to the city that was paralyzed, as hotels, restaurants and other sectors were negatively affected by the pandemic, leaving a high unemployment rate. Citizens began to struggle in their daily food, needs and adapt to the new situation.
