Iraq – Iranian Dates are flooding Erbil Markets -People Complain about their low-quality

Iraq was once the world’s leading producer of dates, but nowadays it imports dates from several countries, at the top of them is Iran. Iranian dates are flooding Erbil markets in Kurdistan Region in Iraq. People complained about the low-quality of these dates, not to mention their bland taste. Some claim that flooding Iraqi markets with Iranian products is nothing but an attempt to weaken the Iraqi economic status quo.
