Tunisia – A severe political crisis casts a shadow over the economic and social sectors

After the dismissal of Prime Minister Elyes Al-Fakhakh last Wednesday, who was accused of being in conflict with national interest and using his influence, as well as the outbreak of conflicts between political blocs under the dome of parliament which resulted in the signing of a list to dismiss the speaker of the People’s Assembly Rached Ghannouchi, Tunisia is under the weight of a political crisis not known before to the country, politicians believe that the repercussions of this crisis will be severe on the economic levels, and will harm Tunisia’s image with the international banking powers and monetary institutions, which will disrupt many economic projects and stop the development of the country, it will also lead to the disruption of reviewing the laws of social projects and the status of vulnerable groups.
