Iraq – Washington tries to protect its interests by amending the strategic framework agreement with Baghdad

The strategic dialogue between Iraq and the United States began on Thursday, through visual communication technology, where officials from both countries discussed several topics, the most important of which is the U.S. military presence, assistance Iraq in its economic crisis and providing support for its reform efforts, observers pointed out that the dialogue between Baghdad and Washington will focus on modifying the Strategic Framework Agreement for Joint Defense signed in 2008, especially with regard to the security aspect, explaining that the United States is concerned about its economic and military interests in Iraq.
