After Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar’s Rakhine State (Burma) have faced decades of systematic discrimination, targeted violence and statelessness, where more than one million Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar have fled to camps in Bangladesh since August 2017, these stateless refugees in The Okhia camp in The Cox’s Bazar district, south-east Bangladesh, are suffering from extremely difficult conditions due to the lack of relief assistance provided, as well as poor infrastructure in the Cox Barzaar camps, and the Bangladeshi government, along with many national and international organizations, is trying to help these refugees alleviate their suffering.
