Analysts pointed out that Iraq is now in the process of rebalancing its relations with the United States of America, especially since there is considerable internal pressure on the Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, demanding the removal of U.S. forces from the Iraqi arena,  analysts added that it is necessary for the time being to hold discussions with the American side and reconsider the framework of the strategic agreement between the two countries to protect the unity and sovereignty of Iraq on one hand, and the need of Iraq to keep these forces on the front ground with ISIS organizations on the other. It is worth noting that Mustafa Al-Kadhimi announced after taking over the presidency of the government the formation of a committee of specialists in foreign affairs and international relations to hold discussions with the American side on the review of the strategic agreement between the two countries in order to protect the unity and sovereignty of Iraq.
