The visit of the Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance and Acting Minister of Oil Ali Abdul-Amir Allawi moved to Saudi Arabia, stirring the stagnant waters in the relationship between the two countries for years, due to Iranian pressure on Iraq. According to observers, the visit opened the way for Iraq to return to its Arab surroundings through a portal to strengthen political and economic relations with Riyadh, expecting that the new Iraqi government will seek to get rid of Iranian control of the joints of the vital country by strengthening its relationship with various Arab countries.
