Iraq – Experts: The timing of the announcement of arresting Qardash came in favor of al-Kadhimi obtaining political and security gains

Experts pointed out that the timing of the announcement of the Iraqi intelligence service regarding arresting one of the most prominent leaders of ISIS, Abdul Nasser Qardash, and the candidate to succeed the former leader of the Islamic State, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, after the escalation of ISIS activity in the region recently, came to get the commander-in-chief of the Iraqi armed forces, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, to obtain political and security gains, and to win the confidence of the people in the ability to manage the security and political file under the current circumstances in the country, experts pointed that based on the confessions of Qardash, the organization suffers from financial corruption and  hesitating in decisions which reflects negatively on the determination of the forces that are moving towards retreating.
